Since graduating from the University of Heidelberg (Diplom-Übersetzerin) in 1984, I have been working as an
English translator full-time. I was sworn in as an interpreter for the Berlin courts and notaries in 1995.
I am an active member and former board member of the Berlin Regional Association of the
Bundesverband der Dolmetscher und Übersetzer e.V. (Germany’s largest Association of Professional Interpreters and Translators).
